2015 Clos Sainte Anne, Côtes de Bordeaux

From Marie and Sylvie Courselle, ‘vigneronnes épicuriennes’, daughters of Francis Courselle of Ch Thieuley. This comes from a 6-ha property in Cadillac and consists of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months, two-thirds in French oak barrels and one-third in concrete.

Dark crimson. Rich, dried-fruits nose with lots of evolution and pleasure. Really ready to drink. Layers and interest.
