2019 Côte de Brouilly, Domaine Gilbert Chetaille

I am a massive fan of posh Beaujolais and this wine is a perfect example. Stunningly well-made, brimming with plummy, ripe, fragrant fruit and seamless on the palate with no trace of tannin or astringency. In short, it is the perfect all-rounder red wine for all recipes including the epic Pasta croquettes.
