Mid purplish crimson. Fragrant with a layer of definite sweetness on the nose. Good bite and medium weight. Bone-dry finish. A lovely lunch wine, or for outdoor dining in high temperatures nicely chilled? Sappy. Just the right amount of acidity and just a little, very fine tannin. Reasonably assertive, presumably from a vintage that ripened the fruit perfectly. 14%
