Les Combes lies below the First Growths of Pommard, near the Volnay commune border, and was frost-affected in 2021. But a small production was possible, and 50% whole bunches were retained for the fermentation. Colour is glistening ruby-ruby, aromas open and fragrant, palate shows full body, gentle fruit concentration and refreshing length. This is again an elegant, civilised Pommard with real finesse (for drinking 2025-2030+).
