2018 Pol Roger Brut Vintage

This 2018 is a traditional house blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 20 Grands and Premiers Crus vineyards. It aged for 5 years in Pol Roger’s deep, cool Epernay cellars, allowing for the development of a very fine, persistent mousse, and complex layers of flavour.

Very pale lemon-green with vivacious bubbles, aromas are enormously attractive, rich and bright: zesty lemons, red berries and shortbread. Palate has full body, very silky mouthfeel and precise, pure flavours. Allied to richness and generosity, there is a line of tautness, energy and freshness, finishing with an elegant, long-flavoured finish (for drinking 2024-2035+).
