2022 Vacqueyras Les Hauts de la Ponche, Domaine Font Sarade

These Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre vines are located at one of the highest points in Vacqueyras, on the ‘Ponche’ plateau at the northern end of the appellation. It displays classic, Vacqueyras power and richness, whilst having elegance. Medium ruby-purple, aromas are perfumed and floral: blackberries, raspberries, with a hint of orange zest. Palate is full bodied, deep and broad, having excellent depth of flavour, velvety mouthfeel, and a harmonious finish (for drinking 2025-2030+).
