The vines here are between 40 and 50 years old, planted by Guillaume’s father. Soils are relatively deep – rich in both silt and clay. Bunches were 100% de-stemmed, and after light punching down, then regular pumping-over in vat, the wine aged 16 months in oak barrels (none of which were new), for bottling in March 2024. This is medium-deep, ruby purple, with well-developed, fine perfume. Palate shows good structure, harmonious fruit and gentle tannins, with fine length (for drinking 2025-2032+).
