2016 Othello, Dominus Estate, Yountville, Napa Valley

Dominus Estate`s Othello cuvée is a wine that expresses its exceptional terroir whilst being enjoyable in its youth. It is produced from grapes grown at the historic, dry-farmed, Napanook Vineyard, being a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. These are selected for their vitality of fruit and silkiness, to give a wine designed to be drunk with 5-10 years of maturity.

Dense, bright ruby colour, the nose is expressive and ripe, with notes of strawberry and blackcurrant, interwoven with vanilla spice. On the palate, this is full, rich and supple, with intense fruit, creamy tannins and and a long, fresh finish (for drinking 2023–2026+).
