2015 Bollinger La Grande Année

This 2015 is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 11 Grands and Premiers Crus vineyards. It aged for 8.5 years on lees, in Bollinger’s cool, chalky cellars, building quality of mousse and intensity of flavour.

Aromas are wonderfully smoky and layered, with notes of stone fruits, berries and honeyed almonds. Palate is rounded and enticing, texture being velvety and mouthcoating. This has beautiful richness, harmonious, fresh acidity and a long-lingering finish (for drinking 2024-2035+).
