La Boudriotte usually benefits from several years’ bottle-age to bloom and show its full potential. The vines are in long rows, planted on three soils – white clay at the top, limestone in the middle, with darker clay below. They gave 8 barrels this year, the wine being pale, green-golden in colour, with fine fragrance. Palate shows individuality, with intense fruit, rich middle and admirable, fresh length (for drinking 2026-2035+).
