This joyful expression of Viognier is named for the well in the Méjeans vineyard, which lies at the top of the village of Larnage, just outside the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. Certified organic, the vines are 15 years old, and clearly thrive in this elevated plot. Pale lemon-gold, aromas are fragrant with ripe apricot and peach aromas. Palate is medium bodied and beautifully textured, being creamy and round without heaviness. There is lovely balance and purity, finishing with freshness and good length.
