Louis Roederer Collection NV

Roederer`s multi-vintage Collection cuvée is an approximate blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier sourced exclusively from three of the Domaine’s own vineyards: La Rivière, La Montagne and La Côte. Reserve wines are key to the Collection blend, comprising 36% of the final wine (10% is the norm), with 10% having aged in large oak foudres, the rest being held as a perpetual reserve in stainless steel tank. These elements add richness of texture and intense complexity of flavour to the final champagne. Once blended, the wine matured for almost 4 years on lees in the Roederer cellar in Reims prior to disgorgement and a dosage of 7g/l.

Pale golden colour with beautifully vivacious bubbles, aromas are very fresh and taut, recalling red fruits, brioche and honeyed pain grillé. Palate is full, supple and generous, having exquisite freshness, fine structure and luscious mouthfeel. The finish is persistent and silky.
