2023 Domaine Pique Roque Rosé, Côtes de Provence

Very pale and also very refined, this thyme-scented rosé is my top pick in this category. It comes from an estate in the Var, north of the Massif des Maures. Finely delineated and savoury with a delicate power that comes through with food. Pass the salade niçoise or the lamb leg cooked with aubergine and garlic.
