From the get-go, Burgundy has been core to our range. Anthony Hanson first visited Beaune in 1963. His passion for the region and its wines was quickly ignited, leading to decades of discoveries, friendships and the sharing of good bottles. Anthony continues to assist us with our Burgundy buying, with his wealth of knowledge and unwavering curiosity being an asset to our team. As well as nurturing links with Domaines with whom we have been working for several generations, we thrive on discovering new properties, and seeing young winemakers hit their stride. Finding wines from less-famous appellations and at the lower-end of the price spectrum is also key to our role as a Burgundy specialist.
