Marc and Pierrette Guillemot-Michel were pioneers of biodynamic winemaking in Burgundy in the early 1990s. Working now with daughter Sophie and son-in-law Gautier Roussille, they make radiant, organic certified wines from the Chardonnay grape, which we have been shipping to the UK for more than 25 years. More recently, we have added their superb Esprit de Chardonnay Marc de Bourgogne to our selection, which was a more recent project, launched by the younger generation. The family`s vines lie in the hamlet of Quintaine, which forms part of the Viré-Clessé appelation. Their wines have an energy, vibrancy and purity that make them stand-outs in the Mâconnais.
