Domaine Didier Dagueneau

Domaine Didier Dagueneau dramatically stands apart from other producers in the Loire Valley. Born and raised in the Pouilly village of Saint-Andelain, Didier established his estate in the 1980s, and quickly made a name for himself as one of the world’s most innovative and unconventional winemakers. He was driven to produce wines of the highest possible quality, pushing the boundaries with Sauvignon Blanc. Today the domaine is run by Didier’s son, Louis-Benjamin, who, with winemaker Jean-Philippe Agisson, continues to combine biodynamic principles, extremely low yields, lees contact and oak ageing to give Sauvignons that are like no others. These wines stand alone for their richness, depth of flavour, intensity and potential to age magnificently. We are thrilled to have a direct relationship with the domaine, from whom we have been shipping since 2019.
